Senior*Principal Research Engineer - Cambridge
Experienced research engineer with an outstanding research track record and a strong engineering background required. You will have a detailed specialist knowledge of two or more of the following areas: ARM architecture; microprocessor architecture; compiler construction; operating systems; algorithm design (media, signal processing & numerical); circuit design; CMOS technology and low power design approaches to dynamic and leakage current reduction; VLSI (Synthesis*P&R, Custom CMOS design). Good communication skills are essential, and you must be a self starter who is highly motivated, highly proactive and able to work either individually or as part of a team. You must show initiative in pursuing problems and identifying research areas of interest, and should demonstrate technical leadership skills. You will have a PhD degree in Electronic Engineering*Computer Science*Engineering*Mathematics or similar, or have 6+ years post graduation experience in microprocessor architecture. This is a great opportunity for experienced Research Engineers to join our client who is a leading provider of 16*32-bit embedded RISC microprocessor solutions in Cambridge.
